Phyllis Berman

 

Rabbi Phyllis Berman is a Spiritual Director, recently retired from 36 years as founder and director of the Riverside Language Program, a renowned school for adult immigrants and refugees from all around the world. Together with her husband Rabbi Arthur Waskow, she has written A Time for Every Purpose Under Heaven, on celebration of life-cycle markers, and Freedom Journeys: The Tale of Exodus and Wilderness across Millennia.
