Frances Chmiel was a writer, rabbi, scribe, scientist, educator, and one-time classical pianist. She held two M.A. degrees in Entomology and Buddhist Studies, and later in life, taught in a wide variety of contexts after being ordained a rabbi.

She is the author of The Holy Ghost Record: My Mother’s Utterances
