Teresa May Duran

Teresa May Duran is a fifth generation Coloradan, whose family can be traced back to the early settlements of New Mexico. Her interest in art started at the young age of four, when she began analyzing the colors and design of the material her mother used to make her dresses. Teresa believes that each artist is unique and must paint what comes from the heart and soul. She has focused on painting retablos using a methodology established 300 years ago by the early settlers of New Mexico and Colorado. The images within her retablos tell a story and offer spiritual comfort to those who believe. For more info see: Teresamayduran.com
