Dr. Steven Moss is a rabbi, recently retired after serving his congregation for 47 years. Alongside A life-long interest in spirituality and mysticism, he is a student of Kabbalah/Jewish mysticism.which was written in Italy and focuses on the kabbalistic meaning of the rituals and customs related to visiting the sick, caring for the dying and funeral and after burial rituals.He has written numerous chapters in books and articles on death and dying, is a contributor to Jewish Sacred Aging, and is currently working on a translation of a 17th-century Hebrew text from Italy, Maavor Yabok.
