Arthur Waskow

 

Rabbi Arthur Waskow is director of The Shalom Center (which he founded in 1983), a prophetic voice in Jewish, multireligious, and American life that brings Jewish and other spiritual thought and practice to bear on seeking peace, pursuing justice, healing the earth, and celebrating community. He is the author or co-author of 22 books, including The Freedom Seder, Seasons of Our Joy, Godwrestling—Round 2, and with his wife, Rabbi Phyllis Berman, A Time for Every Purpose Under Heaven, and Freedom Journeys: The Tale of Exodus and Wilderness across Millennia.
